Simon Borda — General Manager, Il-Palazzin Hotel
My Choice is Malta is led by Simon Borda. Since 2004 he has been General Manager of Il-Palazzin Hotel in Qawra — a 79-room property on Malta's north coast — with more than 22 years of experience in the hotel and tourism industry, responsible for everything from front office and housekeeping to revenue management and guest relations.
Over those years Simon has built a thriving tour and group operation: working with European tour operators, organising coach tours, harbour cruise logistics, Gozo day trips, airport transfers and multi-day itineraries for groups all year round. My Choice is Malta brings exactly that experience to individual travellers.
Simon works in direct partnership with Booking.com, Expedia, Hotels.com, Trip.com and Hotelbeds, and guest satisfaction is the number he watches most closely — his hotel's staff are rated 9.2/10 by Booking.com guests.
