From sunrise until about 13:00 the sunlight turns the sea caverns of the Blue Grotto into a mirror of phosphorescent blues — and weather permitting you can take a 25-minute boat trip around the caves. Then on to Marsaxlokk, where the Sunday market fills the seafront beside the colourful luzzu fishing boats: fresh fish, local honey, jams, wine, souvenirs and more.
